The Town of Oakland is seeking a dependable Parks and Recreation Maintenance Helper to assist with maintaining local parks, athletic fields, and recreation areas.
Responsibilities
Mow and trim grass in parks and athletic fields
Operate lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and other maintenance equipment
Pick up litter and keep grounds clean
Assist with field preparation and general landscaping
Perform basic maintenance and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Able to lift up to [50] pounds and perform physical labor
Experience with mowing or lawn equipment is preferred
Valid driver’s license required
Schedule: 40 hours per week Pay: $18 per hour Location: Parks Department
