This is a support position that performs a variety of clerical and data entry duties. Requires independent work but under the general supervision of the Utility Billing Supervisor, to primarily assist in the recording of water customer payments for the Town of Oakland. Customer service is a vital element of this position.
Graduation from a standard high school or GED; one (1) year of experience as a cashier in an office setting. Data entry and 10-key proficiency, multiline phone, and computer literacy required.
The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check, physical, and drug test.
Salary range is $15.00/hour to $16.65/hour.
